Mir Subhan and myself were altogether in school, college and university. We remained friends afterwards till his death. Really I miss him too much now when he has left us. A few couplets in Khowar are are reproduced here from an elegy which I have written in his memory.
Mir Subhano yad
Ma hm jamaat paranu yar Mir Subhan shokhsiru,
tan tan waria bisi ya wa ka kos wesiru.
Khodai maarifat korar i ajeeba insan se oshoi,
qalandarana tabiato sum dunyo kia no joshiru.
Hish kio ghm no oshoi shakhsiawur kyagh d kori,
mastia shakhsiawur rawur ya dunya honziru.
Bo rahim meherban Khodai to rahmo kinar niki,
Umro niata boghawa tn mulaqato asan krdu.
Horo sr achi israr horo the bo had koyan,
college universityo hate shamo sahar sokhsiru.
