Chitral leg pulling show
Chitral leg pulling show is going on since October 2002, when our
great leaders started blame game for nothing. In Bannu, Dir, Swat
and Mardan, the election fueds are over while in Chitral people are
suffering just because we had elections in 2002, 2005 and 2008.
Latest example of the leg pulling show is the current row between
the sitting MNA and Zilla Nazim over the provision of electricity
to Chitral town. Fortunately we have 1.5 MW electricity that SHYDO
generates in Reshun and does not use because lack of infra-
structure. PESCO decided to buy 1.5 MW spare electricity from SHYDO
and a deal was struck between the two organizations. But Zilla
Nazim thought that the sitting MNA was spearheading the deal and
the former came out with a proposal � either my goodself or
nobody�. The deal was sabotaged and 1.5 MW spare electricity will
go unutilized while the people of Chitral town will experience 10
hours load shedding per day for the next two years. Infact this �
leg pull show in Chitral� which is main hurdle in the way of our
progress. Singoor Irrigation Channel, Chitral Stadium, Chitral
By-pass road and all other schemes were sabotaged in � leg pulling
show�. I request both the rival parties to excuse the people of
Chitral for being their unfortunate voters at one time or the
other.
