LIVING IN STONE AGE IN 21ST CENTURY
Today telephone has become indispensable to remain in touch with
the other parts of the world. Although, the world has become a
global village due to rapid development of communication, but it is
still dream for us in 21st century, because we even have not
telephone and TV facilities to update us, what is happening in the
world even in Pakistan. We still enjoy the single means of
communication the Radio, which was discovered in 1895. We made
requests many times to the governments, but our requests were
nothing else than ring the bell before the camel. How do I believe
in globalization if I am compelled to live in the Stone Age.
As the government and private telecommunication companies are
working in Pakistan, like PTCL, wireless loop, Telenor, Mobilink
and so on, but we are still deprived from these facilities. It is
worth mentioning here that in 1997, the PPP government under the
dynamic leadership of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was sanctioned of 150
lines for Laspur Valley, but could not materialize due to the
dismissal of government.
I humbly request to prime minister, chief minister NWFP, MNA and
MPAs of Chitral to take us out of stone age and provide telephone
line facilities to twenty thousand population of Laspur valley
Chitral.
