Reproductive Decision Making
In reference to letter of Sumnani appearing in Chitral times, I
would like to extend a few words through your esteemed online.
First of all Chitrali websites are basically launched to keep the
people of Chitral around the world aware of day to day happenings
in our home land, secondly these sites also provides opportunity
for the people of Chitral to express and share ideas and
experiences to uphold our socio-economic and cultural values. We
had more peaceful and more brotherly environment, before uninvited
intervention of others, who stepped into our social set up
dreaming to upgrade their religious status. Gradually these
elements are trying to disturb our family system. We don�t need and
neither like the codes of any others, simply because we don�t
believe in genealogy and family trees hypothesis. We neither
believe in cross and inbreeding theories. Through this letter I
will request all Chitrali brothers and sisters to keep themselves
away from the sick, idle, sociologic ideas rejected from Gujrat,
Uganda to Canada. We are only and only Chitrali Muslims and don�t
want to get polluted socially and religiously at any cost. we
have been and are on right path of Islam and have enough capacity
to transfer our understanding to our generations without dictations
from outsiders. We also very strongly believe that reproductive
decision making is neither in the hands of husband nor in the hands
of wife, such decisions according to our believes are made by Allah
Almighty only.
