Condolence
Dear Sir,
Our nation is mourning the brutal assassination of Muhtarama Benazir Bhuttu and every Pakistani from Chitral to Karachi, is deeply grieved, irrespective of his/her political, religious or regional affinity. Her martyrdom is one of the biggest losses to the nation because leaders of her caliber are born once in centuries. She bravely faced and endured the assassination of her beloved father,ZA Bhuttu, brothers, Shah Nawaz Bhuttu and Mir Murtuza Bhuttu and led her party with success. She had proved her self an iron lady of the Islamic world. She embraced martyrdom with the same gallantry though she new that her life was in danger. She was truly our great national leader to be proud of her.
We pray that Allah Almighty may shower His blessing upon the soul of the shaheed Bibi and give courage to her family and the whole nation to bear this irreparable loss (Ameen).
We are extremely sad to day, but at the same time feel sorry over the way of reaction of the party workers/people on the tragedy, who destroyed government and private property worth billion of rupees. It is not the right way of expressing of ones emotions and grief. By burning and plundering banks, petrol pumps, mills, factories, shops, railway stations and vehicles in large number, the lovers of Shaheed Benazeer Bhuttu might have shocked and tormented her soul, as she had been a torchbearer of peace, tranquility and prosperity. In such situations the anti-Pakistan elements avail opportunity to destabilize the country and it is our national responsibility that we should not provide chance to our enemies. The party leaders should have appealed to our compatriots, well in time, to remain calm and restrain from destructive and subversive actions (Although a belated appeal was made after we had damages of a large scale). A leader ship must have the capability to anticipate public anger in such tragic occasions, and have preparedness to cope with.
