Shandur security measures

Shandur festival is here; I would like to remind the authorities about the terrible time common citizens of Chitral town underwent during the last year festival due to abnormal and over exaggerated security measures at the time of the visit of VIPs.

We request the security agencies to avoid brandishing weapons in the streets of Chitral bazaar as such scenes are neither common nor welcomed by the docile people here, and not repeat other such measures like imposing a virtual curfew in the bazaar at the time of VIP visit. such extreme measures only lessen the respect present in the heart of peaceful Chitralis for the visiting guests as it did last time.
