The local people of Chitral are welcoming all the international tourists in this beautiful season of tourism in our locality, as majority of tourists come to Islamabad and than spread other areas of our country. The lunching of direct flight from Islamabad to Chitral is a remarkable action taken by PIA authorities to boast up tourism in this neglected district of Chitral. It is timely action taken by the PIA, because most of the tourists are looking forwards towards the Shandur Polo tournament, which has already been included in visit Pakistan list. Our area is attractive for tourist in regard of natural beauty, custom tradition and especially because of the unique cultural of Kalash people. If the same kind of steps is taken by other govt and non govt organization, definitely the common men would get benefit from the improvement of tourism. Through these lines we want to make some viable suggestions in this regard for PIA authority. The PIA authority should internationally advertise the direct flight from Islamabad to Chitral.

As last year on the eve of Shandur Polo tournament the Federal Minister for tourism had promised to lunch helicopter service from Chitral to Shandur, should be materialized. The PIA authority ought to try to follow the strict schedule of flights for the conveniences of tourist. Another suggestion is about the fares, all the PIA fares to this area must be reconsider and reduce accordingly to facilitate the local people as well as to attract more and more local and international tourist to our area. As our area remained for behind as compare to other districts of our country because we don�t have any other industries only we have to promote this and we hope PIA would play it pivotal role to boost up this industry for the well being of the poor people of our district.
