Need for a Whistle-Blower

Chitral has a unique culture and attractive tradition, enough to draw a line, between its inhabitants and the other communities living, in the length and breath of the country. The pleasing impact of its language, on auditory nerves, widens the flight of imagination and stimulates the aesthetic sense. The love and the charm, for ones native land and language breaks, all the taboos and limits and exponentially increases, her value, if you are away from your nears and dears one and specially from your land.

Recently I passed through both phases of joy and agony, simultaneously on the view of few clips from a dubbed CD, produced by some Chitrali youth. Heart was on cloud nine, that our youth has the potential that they are neck and neck to others, in the field. So it is need of the hour to encourage and support such skilled youth, to boost up their services, in the right direction.

The other side of the picture that multiplies their effort with zero is the coarse, vulgar ad third class dialogues that are enough to despise their action and made them legal to kiss the rod. Those youth are in complete slumber, and even do not know the A.B.C of the code of ethics of mass communication. These codes do not permit the use of un-moral words, and usage of coarse and vulgar language; the violator should be subjected to punishment.

The veracity of these wordings could be verified, easily by spearing few moments for the CD.

Now it is the call of the hour that the people concerned and the administration bridling the affairs, should take the matter seriously, fabricate or modify the code of ethics, and do not let the people to contaminate the nave thinking of the young generation in the name of such wild amusement. There are thousand and one novel ways of providing amusement and fun keeping oneself, within the ambit of moral and ethical setup.

This letter does not be misinterpreted, as some retaliatory measure or anything else of malafide intensions, against those youth. It is a suggestion and request, to them that for Heavens sake, use polite and message encoded dialogues. Then the time is not far away, that you may lead the others by your nose, and we all be with you, to paint he town red, on your success.

Mother Day

Dear Editor

Through your online esteemed paper I would like to highlight the importance of mothers day with reference to history. May 13, 2007 was celebrated throughout country as a Mothers Day. The history of mothers day is centuries old and goes back to the times of ancient Greeks, who held festivities to honor Rhea, the mother of the gods. But slowly and gradually, it became very popular and celebrated in most of the countries including Pakistan.

Mothers day is the occasion to honor the best creation of Almighty Allah on the earth .

We all are greatly influenced by our mothers. She remains a great source of inspiration for all of us throughout our lives. Her power and charisma cannot be matched by any other force on this earth. Mothers greatness and her sense of self sacrifice have inspired people from time to time and to ink their feelings and emotions in a number of ways. It is the time to give back to our mothers the love and care, which showered on us all her life. This is the time to tell her that she is the most loving, kind hearted and caring person in our lives. It is the time to treat her like the queen of the world. It is she, who brings us to see the light of this world. It was she, who looked after when we were helpless and did not hesitate to sacrifice her life for making our lives comfortable. Remember all those undecided moments of life and we needed some one, who could make wise advice in our ears, who was mother. Think about the tons of love, she professes for us everyday through all her acts, big and small. It can not even be measured, but it can be felt only. I salute those mothers, who dont believe to feed Nestle powder milk to their children but breast feed, who dont love job or money but love to care their children, who dont love to keep day care but love to look after their children. Oh! My Lord, protect and guide mothers everywhere to look out for their children. Help them to teach and love their children as You love and teach us. Amin.
