A Gigantic Step in dying bed.
It is in the reference to the recent press conference of Maulana
Chitrali (MNA) on dated 18/04/2007, he openly disclosed the
mismanagement, nepotism and mal practices in education department.
In todays brain driven economy education plays the most important
role for the development of any nation. If anybody would try to
summarize the causes of the downfall of Muslim Umma in two words,
that will be the Sub-standard education. Had the Standard of
education not been so low, our Muslim Umma would have not been in
such miserable position as we have been passing through now a day.
To eliminate the causes of this down-fall we need substantial and
corrective steps in education department, so our MNA is doing the
same we appreciate his these bold steps towards the education
department but the objectionable thing which every body with common
sense can raise the question like, why such steps are being taken
in the dying days of MMA govt,
the MNA and his govt should have to thing about this problems in
the early days of their govt. So the common man could have enjoyed
benefit from their corrective measures. Maulana Chitrali also
mentioned about the employees who are entrenched with their pool
for 14 years but what about the employees who have been working in
WAPDA for more than 24 years. So those employees who have struck to
their seats became stagnant and spoil the whole pool. So our
suggestion
in this regard is that for every govt. servant there must be a
specific tenure to serve in a seat. Another suggestion about
education department is that for the administration in education
there must be professional administrator, these administrator of
high cadre must be commissioned officers where as in our education
department the senior teachers are being posted as the
administrators. Such govt. officers have already exhausted their
energies in teaching and also their
subordinates are actually their colleagues in past, so they cant
take a solid step towards them. Teachings and administration both
are the different profession so there must be different
professional of each department.

Mulkhow village always sidelined in Dev: Project
Dear editor,
This is written in response to letter written by Mohammad
Zafaruddin from Mulkhow, demanding TV boaster for Mulkhow. Needless
to say that Mulkhow village has always been sidelined in
developmental projects like these. Let us take the example of
Tehsil Mastuj (previously called so). Three digital telephone
exchanges were built in this particular Tehsil, but there was no
single one for Mulkhow. Similarly there are television broadcast
center operating in Booni Mastuj, but residents of Mulkhow are
deprived of this facility. It is obvious that residents of Mulkhow
have been treated like second-class citizens and they have never
been a priority in terms of developmental projects. I am glad that
people have realized that they are being treated unfairly, and it
is their right to raise their concerns for this injustice. Unless
and until we don't raise voice against injustices, these will
continue to exist, and a day will come when we will left with no
options except to say sorry.
It is a humble request to the concerned authorities that they
should distribute developmental projects equally throughout the
district so that every individual can get chance to make use of
them.

Destroyed villages
Was there another village destroyed
Why did the people come to celebrate.
(Ahmad Faraz)
The next day after the avalanche hit the village Washich Chitral,
we saw some Army helicopters hovering the sky of Chitral, another
helicopter was also landing, late on C-130 also landed and our
political leaders were seen in the airport trying reserve seat to
visit the effected area. Media also gave full coverage to the
tragedy and BBC also contributed in the regard to keep up to dated
the people about the tragedy. Everybody was satisfied with the
govts timely mobilization of its machinery, one of our omnipresent
federal minister also paid a photogenic to the area, but our
provincial leader did not get bother even to play such kind of
drama too.
When the dust settled, having observed the ground realities
everybody was surprised that noting substantial relief items have
been shifted to the effectees neither the monetary helps were given
to the people. So the relief goods drama ended with out a proper
ending. It was really not a well-written, well-heated drama to
inspire the people of Chitral. The next phase was that the local
people staged protest demonstration against insufficient relief
goods supplied to the people. One of our Kalash activists and
social worker said in an interview on PTV, that in the eve of 8th
October all the nation was arise, but in this high time in Chitral
where more than 70 people lost their lives and the whole
infrastructure was destroyed no body from down country gave any
attention to this event. This thing arises a kind of
dissatisfaction and a sense of alienation among the people of my
locality. It is said that late is better then never, so govt should
also take some steps to provide the relief goods to the affected
people and also disburse the promised monetary help to the people
of Washich as soon as possible.
