�Plight of utility store in Chitral�

Through your esteemed daily I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the miserable condition of utility store in Chitral city.
Utility store has been in operation in Chitral for the last few years, but the service, which it offers to the consumers, is unsatisfactory. It lacks essential items of daily life. The items are provided to the people in limited quantity. The list of essential commodities of life is not too long. Only basic items soap, shampoo, toothpaste is available. Food items,
which are basic requirements of the people, are either unavailable or offered in limited quantity.
The situation become grave when winter sets in. no attention was paid before the closure of Lawari top to fill the stores with basic commodities of life. As a result, people remained deprived of its service during winter and had to purchase things from the open market at higher price.
So, now the winter is over and Lawari top is due to open in the coming few days. The concerned authorities should pay due attention to the utility store to ensure the supply of daily items to the consumers on priority basis. New items are needed to be included in the service list, so that it could provide better service to the people.
