It is indeed a matter of great pleasure for all the ex-student of Peshawar University from Chitral that the Chitral Student organization has been functioning effectively for so any years. Another new development about the revival of the old nomination method for the president ship and other office bearers are also encouraging and a positive sign to unite all the
Chitrali Students together.
Through these lines I want to convey my heartiest congratulation to the Mr, Hakim Sheraz u din for his nomination as a President of Chitral Student organization. And also we hope that Mr, Sheraz will try his best to solve the problems of Chitrali students and also try to revive the brotherly relationship among the Chitrali Students in Peshawar.

Tourism in Chitral

The spring of France is the great source of attraction for the international tourist, so the spring of Chitral is also well known because of its neutrality, beauty and purity. People from country as well as from international tourists usually turn toward Chitral, to visit the Chitral valley but the most attractive areas are Bumburate, Berir and Rumbur (which are known as
Kalash Valleys). Unfortunately because of the harsh winter and natural calamities more then 77 people were lost there lives and also there houses were damaged. This disaster has damaged the road networks of our whole district. As tourism is the main source of livelihood to the most people in Chitral. So if Govt. didn�t take a timely step to restore all the roads in
the tourist attractive sites, this industry would definitely suffer and hotel management and business community would be the main losers in such case, our suggestion is this regard to the govt ups is that as it is already decided to include the local Chilimgusht festival in the visit Pakistan year. So the dates are fixed for this local Chilimgusht festival from 13th
May to 16th May, and govt. especially our President Parvaiz Musharaf should give an order to expedite the work to reopen these roads as soon as possible.
Otherwise hundreds of tourists defiantly divert their direction to other part of the world.
