Unjust distribution of fund under Tamer Sarhad Program.
This refers to Dawn of September 13, 2007 titled PHC seeks NWFP government reply over MPAs writ challenging the unjust distribution of funds to the tune of Rs.1,240 million under the Tameer-e-Sarhad Program and Rs.one billion special package by Chief Minister. The above development funds instead of being distributed amongst the elected representatives on just basis were distributed amongst the dears and nears to the tune of Rs10 million. Petition further said that fund amounting to Rs.175 million, 80 million, 202.12 million and Rs.35 million allocated for Fazli Ali Public School in Swabi, Sirajul Haq Public School in Lower Dir, Mufti Mehmood Public School in DIKhan and Qazi Public School in Nowshera respectively. Petitioners further claimed that Chief Minister allocated Rs.2545 million for development of Banu. Mowlana Jehangir MPA Upper Chitral is said to be one of the dear and near to Chief Minister and hence might have been allocated with some fund out of the Tamer Sarhad Program for rehabilitation of flood devastated houses and infrastructure in his constituency like Sanogher, Raeen, Kushum and Chuinj villages which are worst affected villages than Bannu. Chitral I think again deserves more for fund to Public Schools like Qutaiba Public School Chitral, Pamir Public School at Booni/Garumchishma and Sayorj Public School Chitral. Writers, speakers and readers to view and speak on it in right forum.
Liaquat Ali Chitral.
