PTCL AGAIN FAILED TO CONNECT CHITRAL

 Due to poor services and in competency of PTCL staff, the whole Chitral remained disconnected from the rest of the world. It is indeed a unique experience to remain out of contact with the whole of the world in this era of globalization and global village. Our district is no more part of this global village and turned into no man�s land. PTCL telephone network, fax, Internet, wireless lops and other related facilities like on-line banking and academic results were out of the range of all Chitralis.

As it is wisely said that out of the fry pan into the fair, so during these hot days, we had been experiencing the power break down problem, and became used to be, but this new problem multiplied the miseries of common man. So through these lines, we appeal to the high ups of PTCL authorities to ensure the around the year connectivity of Chitral with the rest of the world, because Chitral is a sensitive and geographically very important area of Pakistan, to get such an aim, there should be high quality machineries and equipment and also the said depth should depute trained and skilled person to run all these equipments to avoid such kind of problems in future, otherwise the common people will come out the street, against the PTCL as it has been a routine practice against the PESCO (WAPDA) and also the image of PTCL would be damaged.

Chitral stood 1st in immunization vaccination & 4th position in Literacy

In recent days a survey has been conducted about the literacy rate as well as getting immunization vaccine through out the country. so according to the performance the authorities published ranking of areas in the newspaper. according to the survey among other cities of NWFP Chitral  got 4th position in literacy and 1st in getting immunization vaccine against
various diseases.

The literacy rate of Chitral is 48.4% has shown, so it is excellent beside the various problems of Chitral which is consider backward by others. In getting 1st position in immunization it is proved that how cooperative are the Chitral people with the policies of govt. it is also good sign  for the healthcare of our children.
 

So we must go ahead at every positive activities which may lead our district and country towards prosperity.
