Whom to Vote?
Every Tom, Dik and Harry camouflaged as politician and jumped into the race-course of politics. Among them, couples are elite and some are new in this field. What politicians had done for Chitral and Chitralis in the past and what would they do this time? It is a big question mark on the heads of each and every voter . . . One have to think 100 times before casting his vote.
The election campaign-cum-canvass is on the move and I have heard some orators during Jumma sermons, some of them breathe-fire and inflame other aspirants. Their symbols, posters visible everywhere from rocks to building walls and a particular party is omnipresent in our national television appealing the voters to vote for them and party workers-cum-motivators are also performing their duties with their best. Every party of standing except JI taking part in the polls and JI workers are not casting their votes or here too they look for some reasonable candidate whose manifesto fulfils JI's demands.
Being Chitralis we may not vote for the party but we have to look and decide among all aspirants who will work for the benefit of Chitral and Chitralis. Who will come up with flying colors lets see on 9 th January 2008.

Nine square stamp
According to rhetorics, the Election Commission of Pakistan is going to held free and fair elections. Each voter will cost his vote through a nine square stamp that will only be available at the polling station on the polling day i.e. January 8, 2008. In case of PML (Q) the nine square stamp is available to the party well ahead if the polls, and PML (Q) educates its voters on state owned PTV, how to put the nine square stamp on its election symbol bicycle. I do salute the CEC for his impartiality and I do believe PML (Q) will also be given similar access to the ballot papers well ahead of the polling day.
