National Internship Program

The Federal Govt yesterday announced the one-year National Internship Program plus ten thousand Rupees stipend for those students, who have already completed their sixteen years education in any HEC�S recognized universities of Pakistan. The same decision was also taken by the Provincial govt earlier but still the decision was not materialized yet. When a common citizen sees such kind of decisions really feels a kind of satisfaction and relief. And also such kind of decision shows that our beloved country is slightly declining towards the welfare state. In reality that was the dream of our great Quaid to convert the God gifted country in to the welfare state. Here we would like to suggest that the burocracy and its red tapism should not become a hurdle in the way of such decisions, and also the recent govt should have at least to ensure the consistency of such kind of policies till their implementation, and the relief should have to reach to the common man. With the implementation of such policies the govt can easily share the financial burdens of the poor parents, who
already faced limitless difficulties to educate their young sons and daughters.
When we compare the both policies of Federal and Provincial govt the earlier one is more comprehensive and practice able, because Federal govt also provides one year training to all the young graduates, which really make them more energetic, experienced and practical person for their coming life and they also get an opportunity to be familiar with the govt department and their working.
Another point, which seems objectionable, is that such kind of programs and policies are being observed in the dying year of the govt. but still we appreciate and hope the next coming govt would keep continues such positive steps for the progress and prosperity of our Pakistan.
