Great People to Cry with

Dear Sir,

Through your esteemed online newspaper I would like to draw the attention of high ups toward a very serious problem which all chitralis often facing during winter, because the district remains cut off from other parts of the world for four to five months. The only way to cross the boarder is Lawari Pass, while the officials of Chitral on negotiation with Afghan officials made it possible to travel via Afghanistan. Passengers are facing much problem while traveling via Afghanistan especially those who are accompanied by olds and women. The Govt: of Pakistan has provided an air facility to the
peoples of Chitral, but the public are reluctant to fly not because of financial constraints but due to lack of attitude of the PIA Chitral based staff.

I am the regular reader of your online news. A couple of months ago I got an opportunity to read a series of letters regarding the misbehavior of PIA staff. I though why these peoples are look at upon the PIA staff being a part of a very prominent national organization.

i got an opportunity to visit PIA Chitral based office for a passenger ticket a couples of week ago, but the staff said to come to the office at 2.00 p.m, I went there at 2.00 p.m and the said staff this closed the office saying to come to the office next day. Similarly I visited the office twice a day for two weeks (the peoples in the bazaar who knows me considered that I have been appointed at PIA). But the staffs were reluctant to provide me a ticket. At least on insisting they provided me a ticket but unfortunately it was a blank ticket saying to arrive at airport at 9.00 a.m.

here I would like to say one thing that why these peoples are making fool the public being the eye-witness of the situation and the tickets are being issued keeping in view the nepotism, partiality, relative ness and friendship. Is it our fault that we have no such relative or friend in the said organization?

I would like to sum up by saying,
Professionalism should be inducted in the said Chitral based organization.
Proper staff training should be provided to the staff that how to deal with the peoples?
The necessitated constraints should be kept in mind while issuing the tickets.
