OUT OF THE FRY PAN INTO THE FIRE.

It is human nature that more often than not, we do not respond positively to change, for change comes with uncertainty and loss of familiarity. However some changes are easier to adapt to than other is not the easiest one to cope with and brings out a different reaction in all of us.

But the recent climatically changes during the last few years are really incomparable and unbearable for specially areas like our Chitral. During the recent harsh winter season, we are regularly being observed the scarcity of fire wood natural gas, Cool and other sources of energy in market. If we get any material form the local market, the prices are out of the reach of the common man. To maintain the room temperature up to the living standard really need a lot of resources, but our common Chitrali brother cant afford such kind of high priced materials.

During the recent heavy snow fall multiplied the miseries of the lay man, with disconnection of Chitral from the national-grid, our Chitral became the valley of darkness for more then two weeks, in reality we can say, we were out of the fry pan into the fire.

When we look towards the govt. sector in such a dire situation, we couldnt see any thing except mismanagement, nepotism, bribery, and malpractices, our govt. as well as the NGOs dont have any clean vision for coming difficulties of the poor people of Chitral. Our NGOs working in Chitral now should have to take a U-turn in a matter of energy crises. Now in such situation we dont need any bridges, protection walls infrastructure, we need cheap energy resources to maintain our room temperatures in Chitral. So the NGOs should now start new projects in a new format to facilitate the poor people here in Chitral. Many of our NGOs became a economical black holes swallowed millions of dollars only in the head of salaries and office maintains of their own staff.

So I through this letter want all of my friends who would read this message, please thing about a new easily manageable sources of energy to our Chitral, So we can solve this problem through the dialogue suggestion and discussion.
