Salute to AVT Khyber

Through your esteemed online I would like to appreciate the generosity of AVT Khyber in accommodating in their transmission programme, the glimpses of a musical show recently organized by young Chitralis in Karachi. It was in fact a tribute marking the beginning of a tunnel through mighty Lawari Mountain to provide all weather access of the district to other parts of the country. AVT Khyber, a couple of months earlier, as well aired one Khowar song in Pushto programme. I express my deep appreciations for the private channel which is so caring for the people of a remote district of NWFP. I suggest this patronage by AVT Khyber will further enhance by presenting documentaries highlighting enormous problems faced by the people of Chitral in all walks of life.
I also appreciate the efforts of young Chitralis in organizing such cultural shows. However, I must remind them that quality is one aspect that must be seriously taken care of, especially when such a programme goes on air. I was hardly satisfied with the quality and disposition of people during the dance. Those who are nominated to talk on such occasion must also be very well prepared. One of the fellows, for example, claimed 99 percent literacy rate in Chitral.
Any way I don�t have any intention to undermine their efforts, but still expect for even more hard work and better preparation. I still salute to all such efforts which help in positively promoting image of Chitral and its people. With due regards to all.
