Mixing the Real Culture with the Part Culture

Respected Sir,

I want to draw  attention the high authorities of PTV  towards the Chitrali culture. You know what is the Chitrali culture? It is the unique culture of livelihood, hospitality, brotherhood and the style of living is totally different from the Kalash people. Unfortunately the people of our native country have less knowledge about Chitral culture and it has been confused with the Kalash culture. Kalash has its beauty in its own way. But it is not our real culture and 98% Muslims are living in district Chitral. It is the biggest district in Malakand Division, which have 400,000, and above population.
These population 62% educated means literacy rate is growing. So that I request to my countrymen and media men must represent thoroughly the real culture of the real people. We are proud of Kalasha people and their culture. But our culture is quite different from them. 98% is not equal to 2%. Chitral has various beautiful and charming valleys with a unique culture of its own.
I am requesting please for God sake PTV is a largest national and international family channel in our motherland. If chitrali program is not given due importance in respect of time then don�t mixed-up our culture with the other cultures.

Dear Sir,

I shall be grateful to you if you publish some news about lawyers working in Chitral. You are doing wonderful work as journalist in the uppermost part of Pakistan. We the Karachites love Chitral because it is our beautiful part although NWFP government has failed to provide an all weather road to Chitral.

I also appeal to President Musharraf to visit Chitral and direct Air Link of Chitral with Karachi or direct flights between Islamabad and Chitral besides present flights. I would also request readers of Chitral Times to correspond with people of Karachi. Good luck to people of Chitral.
