TRUE STATESMANSHIP

In two different press talks our political leaders, MNA Maulana Abdul Akbal Chitrali and District Nazim Chitral, Mr. Maghfirat Shah have paid rich tributes to President Pervaiz Musharaf for showing personal interest in Mega Lowari Project and in the development of Chitral. Its called the true statesmanship spirit that one is not biased due to political affiliation while telling the truth. Their remarks have earned them additional respect of the non-political patriots. Yes, the credit of this mega project goes to President Musharaf, alone and his name will be remembered as long as Chitral survives on this planet. Late ZA Bhutto is still adored for the initiation of the Lowari Tunnel Project and his successors are condemned for putting it on the back burner. What the civilian heads of the state and governments could not give to the backward people of Chitral, is being made possible by a president in uniform. Acceptance of facts and recognition of his performance would really give further boost to the interest of the president in bringing Chitral at par with the developed parts of our beloved country.
We hope our leaders will join us in prayer for the long life of Mr. Musharaf and continuity of his presidential office so that the project could be completed without any interruption.
