Thank you for the question. Khowar is not pronounced as "Kh" in Khwaja. It is pronounced as "Kh" in the name of Khokar, Khokrapar or Tharpar Khar, or Hina Rabbani Khar. So the meaning "disgraced, weak or degraded" is not true. Khowar is name of the language of Chitral and Ghazar (Gilgit) Districts. It is an Indo-Aryan Language spoken by "Kho" tribe. The population of Kho is 600000 as per the 1998 census.
