The Pamir haunt

Analysis of international news shows that major geographic and demographic changes are on the cards. The 21st century is destined to be a century of major up sets in India Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan. This is why � Pamir haunt� is seen is work plans, itineraries and guide maps of the world. The new buffer zone will be called � The Pamir State� and it will comprise Kashmir, Ladhakh, Baltistan, Gilgit, Chilas, Kohistan, Chitral, Wakhan and the historic Pamir plateau.
Political and military observers are of the view that the decades of oil and gas are going to fade away. The forthcoming decades will see water sources and mountains on the top of global agenda. Imperial powers and neo-colonial hawks are on their way to explore new avenues for confrontation. All indicators point towards the roof of the world as the new battlefield. This was the place where empires used to meet in the past and this will be the place where empires will plan to collide in future.
Opening of the Lawari pass through rail tunnel is the beginning of the end for those who live in the Southern Valleys of the Hindukush, Karakorum and Pamirs. God willing the poor will prosper or God forbid the poor will vanish.
