Chitral City Drawn into Darkness

Due to the recent rains and Snow, Chitral City disconnected from the national grid and due to which our district to deprived from 4MW electricity from the National grid. The local existing power is supplied to the very few villages of Chitral. We have 4MW power station in Reshun managed by Sarhad Hydrel development organization (SHYDO) yet to be connected with Chitral City, but because of the poor administration of WAPDA authorities the town area is put into darkness for a week.
SHYDO doesn�t allow WAPDA to connect with Chitral city, because of this miss coordination of these two-govt departments the poor peoples of Chitral are suffering a lot of difficulties during this severharsh cold weather. So still in 21st century uncertainty is prevailing among the people of Chitral, the people of Chitral became senseless and used to with such circumstances. Business community is the main loser in such a worse situation.
When contacted with local authorities of WAPDA they reply that their load-shading schedule is yet to be finalized. If the WAPDA doesn�t have enough power to full fill the requirements of the local area, if should have to distribute the existing power to whole locality. So through this latter we want to draw the attention of the WAPDA authorities and district government towards the difficulties of the local people and business community.
