Weapons and peace

A man of mountains with a gun in hand fears none except the absolute one.
The Taliban belonging to mountainous country of Afghanistan, get easy approach to all kind of weapons and have numerous of them in their possession. It seems impossible to defeat them unless they are deprived of these weapons.
Being a man of mountains I know the nature of the people of mountainous areas. No operation can deprive them of the possession of their weapons. Efforts should be made to unarm them by some other effective measures.
The US dollar is the only thing to replace the weapon, provided the cost of each and every weapon must be kept high enough to replace the weapon.
I appeal to the powers-that-be to take every possible step for peace in Afghanistan because the future of our children is directly related to peace in Afghanistan.
