Chitralians and Private Housing Societies

Dear Editor,

Through your esteemed newspaper (chitral times), I want to try to explain some most authentic and sensitive facts and figures about private housing societies, especially in Islamabad and Rawalpindi areas.

These days, we are seeing an arousing advertisement in printed and electronic Medias inviting chitralians to get a plot in capital municipality and also urged to not miss the golden opportunity.

Lets talk a little bit about private housing societies in twin cities. This is absolutely true that in the nineties, after a pitiable corruption in private societies in Pakistan, especially in Isd/RWP, and many private societies have been collapsed and the government of Pakistan banned all the private societies by a federal notification. Everybody can remember the historical Banigala accident in 1993 that took the lives of four innocent people during a horrible clash between C.D.A enforcement staff and inhabitants of Banigala.

This is how they say, the illegal private housing soled the land to the most influential people for a huge amount and within a year, a big illegal town was built on the side. When the C.D.A official asked from the involved society to present the legal documents of the land, the management of the society left the country within a night. A few people were arrested and put into jail, thus C.D.A bulldozed the town with out any farther notice. I personally remember that, even Dr. Abdul Qadir khans, sirtaj Aziz and many more houses were bulldozed and huge public money were gone. These are a few eye witnesses about P.H.S incidents. If you seriously look at the background of private housing societies in Isd/RWP; it is an unexplainable history, full of corruption, dishonest people, hungry for public money and totally inexperienced in housing fields.

I have so many years experience working with private housing societies; therefore this is my morel and scrupulously duty to bring these facts in front of innocent chitrali people.

Before investing in housing society, in any area think many times, because it is not easy to build a full-fledged town or colony in a city, but it is very easy to give an advertisement in media for inviting people to invest there.

These kinds of people, (society rejected people) are always remaining for inactive opportunities to get money from the public in different knacks and there are no public interests in their eyes.

Sincerely,
Gul Jee
