LOWARI RAIL TUNNEL GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY.

Chitralians in Karachi called and congratulated each other immediately after the ground breaking ceremony of Lowari Rail Tunnel held on 8th of July in Chitral by President of Pakistan General Pervaiz Musharaf. No doubt this is the start of good days for the people of Chitral.
The history tells us and we the Chitralians know and have seen the facts and figures with our both the eyes that late Atalique Jaffer Ali Shah started speaking about the tunnel and repeated same point in assembly time and again and in all available forum and as a result he was named and famous as Mr. Tunnel. We are proud of him with his name as Mr.Tunnel. This was because of Mr. Tunnel that Shaheed Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto started the construction work on this tunnel in 1974. This mega project that was started by Z.A. Bhutto now restarted for completion by General Pervaiz Musharaf, the President of Pakistan in 2006. The souls of all those who started this project and those who worked for the project must be very happy and satisfied with ease now. We know that People of Chitral must be very happy and celebrating these days as their happiest days and historical event for the development and prosperity of Chitral. President also announced to fulfill his next promise of connecting Chitral to Central Asian Islamic Republics through construction of about 250 km highway from Chitral which is equally the very good news for the people of Chitral. The long long wish and expectations of the people of Chitral are being met out by present government. We all should pray for completion of both the projects.
