It is with reference to the news item of your online newspaper (Sep17,2006) about the great humanitarian act of Mr. Tariq Azeem, Minister of State. By shifting the poor child from hard menial duty to a school class room, the honorable Minister has not only earned the blessing of the Almighty Allah but has also set a remarkable example for all those who can extend helping hand to the thousands of destitute Shoaib Akhtars, washing pots in hotels or cleaning cars in auto work shops and so on all over the country, just to keep the wolf from the door.

At the same time we should also appreciate chitraltimes.com for highlighting the plight of the dejected family and bringing it into the notice of the kind minister. We expect the same service from all the esteemed newspapers and websites of our country, especially from the local newspapers of the backward areas.
