CHITRAL: MNA Chitral Shahzada Iftikharud Din has said that the
New Survey to start in Sept 2017 will benefit 25,000 Twenty Five
Thousand Poor Households throught District Chitral.
Towards that end MNA Chitral had a detailed discussion with
Chairlerson BISP Marvi Memon who had twice visited Chitral in 2015
Talking to media MNA said that at least 10,000 poor households to
get new BISP cards while another 15,000 are expected to get PM

He said a fresh poverty survey shall be undertaken next month in
Sept 2017 where atleast Twenty Five Thousand poor households will
get Benazir Income Support Program as well as PM Health Cards
Among the new Twenty Five Thousand Households atleast Ten Thousand
(10,000) households are expected to get Benazir Income Support (BISP)
Cards in addition to Fifteen Thousand (15,000) households expected
to get PM Health Cards.
MNA saif After the new survey all existing old BISP and PM Health
cards will be cancelled by Dec 2017 and new cards shall be issued
in the new year 2018 inshallah.
The Chairperson BISP Marwi Memon who had visited Chitral twice in
2015 and 2017 has told MNA Shahzada Iftikhar Uddin that the survey
shall begin in sept 2017.
There have been widespead public complaints about a large number of
rich and wealthy people who fradulently managed to get BISP cards
besides several cases of existing Government servants also managing
to get the cards, it has been decided to ensure that only poor
people are given both the BISP and PM Health Cards.
Shahzada Iftikhar Uddin has been told by Marvi Memon Chairperson
BISP to ensure that only BISP card is given per poor houshold once
the qualify for the BISP card. It has also been decided that only
one PM Health Card shall be distributed amongst beneficiary
households to ensure that each qualifying household gets one card
in order to ensure no household gets more than one card as was done
in the past.
