Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metrobus.

The Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metrobus is also known as Pakistan metro or Pandi metrobus. This bus system serves the twin cities of Pakistan, Rawalpindi and Islamabad, this system uses e-ticketing, electronic ticketing and it is a intelligent transportation system.

These buses use decided bus lanes for all its routs covering 24 bus stations. It was inaugurated on 4 June 2015 by the Prime Minister Mohammad Mia Nawaz Sharif becoming the second fully functional BRT service in Pakistan after the great success of this service in Lahour too.

There are calls for a mass transit system in Karachi as well, as the city is the economic hub of Pakistan and has a population five times that of Rawalpindi-Islamabad, yet still lacks a public mass transit system.
the Metro Bus is going to be a major convenience for commuters travelling between the two cities. Prime Minister Nawaz gave examples of students and government officers who would have to spend thousands each month for their commute between the cities. "Instead of changing two or three routes, they can now reach their destination in 15-20 minutes.

Hinting at the protracted Islamabad sit-ins spearheaded by the rival Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), the premier said the project met with some delays but has finally been completed.

Prime Minister Nawaz also gave hope to the denizens of Karachi saying that Greenline Rapid Transport System will soon be launched in the metropolis.

The profit of this service will be determined by the people who uses this transport service and it all belongs to the Government of Panjab only.
