Independent candidate Muhammad Hussain join Jamat Islami

By Zahiruddin

An independent candidate from Lot Koh ward of district council Lot Koh, Muhammad Hussain decided to support Jamaat-e-Islami in the election of district nazim raising its strength to 12 in the house of 38.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday flanked by district amir of JI, Maghfirat Shah, he said that the decision of supporting JI was based on his unflinching conviction on the integrity of the party which always stood on principles.

He said that he belonged to the home constituency of the sitting MPA and district president of PPP, Salim Khan who nominee was badly rejected by the people because of poor performance in the development sector.

Mr. Hussain said that the people of his constituency had pinned great hopes on him to drive the area out of the morass of deprivation and backwardness by voting him and this was possible only through JI.

He said that the area lacked the basic facilities of life in this advanced age while the elected representative had disappointed them in the past.
