NAB arrests his own employee involved in corruption

PESHAWAR: National Accountability Bureau Khyber Pakhtunkhwa arrested Gul Khatab employee of NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the charges of illegal gratification / corruption. The accused Gul Khatab allegedly used name of NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and took bribe from people for getting them favour in cases against them in NAB.

The arrest warrants of accused were issued by Director General NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is worth mentioning here that NAB is an apex anti-corruption body and amongst corrupt element the top priority is its own employees if they found indulged in corruption and corruption practices. As per loud and clear instruction of Mr. Qamar Zaman Chaudhary Chairman NAB regarding Zero Tolerance against corruption, NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa took this step to convert the dream of establishing a corruption free society into reality.

The accused will be produced before the accountability court for obtaining his physical remand into NAB custody.


NAB arrests Imran owner of Royal Foundry in illegally utilization of electricity

PESHAWAR: NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa arrested Imran owner of Royal Foundry in connivance with TESCO Officers illegally utilized electricity for his steel furnace and caused loss of Rs.26.4 Million to the Govt Exchequer.

As per details the Royal Foundry is situated in Shahkas area of Khyber Agency (FATA) initially the case was taken-up by FIA but due to restricted jurisdiction in FATA the case was referred to NAB Authorities for further inquiry / investigation. NAB authorities constituted a technical Committee for establishment of the offence of electricity theft. During the course of inquiry it was revealed that the TESCO officials supplied electricity from the Grid Station meant for general consumer of FATA to the Royal Foundry for commercial purpose without any legal authority. Accused Imran with other crony accused persons of TESCO caused about more than Rs.26.4 Million the Government Exchequer.

NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is actively pursuing the case and more arrests are on card. The accused will be produced before the accountability court for obtaining his physical remand into NAB custody.
