Islamabad: NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa arrested accused
Noor-ul-Hassan owner of Ahmad Steel Re-rolling Industry, Gadoon
Amazai Industrial Estate for willfully defaulting electricity bills
worth Rs.30.3 Million causing huge loss to national exchequer.
As per details, the accused person owns three industries namely M/s
Afandi Steels, M/s Ghazi Steels and Ahmad Steel Re-rolling
industry. He willfully defaulted electricity bills for several
years. Despite several notices he deliberately and intentionally
refused to make good his dues.
NAB has decided to take to task all the big fishes who deviously
and willfully defaulted electricity bills. It merits to mention
here that an MOU has been signed between NAB and Ministry of Water
& Power to recover dues to tune of Rs.65 Billion from the
defaulters of TESCO & PESCO.
Further inquiry is being actively pursued by NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Around 100 big fishes are being looked into and more arrests of the
electricity defaulter are on card. The accused person is presented
before the Accountability Court.
